Students involved in Kiwi will score the opportunity to learn with our unique pyramid learning system, otherwise known as SHEEPP-C. This learning pyramid is instilled into all students in order to teach them to make a name for themselves, and to capitalize on their success.
The PLS is structured to help students learn, do, then teach. To make clients become their own bosses, teaching people to grow as they have grown themselves. The learning structure is comprised of seven categories; Show, Hear, Explore, Explain, Practice, Performance, and Coach (SHEEPP-C).
- Show: It’s important to first show your client what to do, so they get a basic idea of the activity
- Hear: When you’re training someone, they’ll hear what you’re saying, and a get a good feel for what they have to do.
- Explore: In the explore stage, your clients try out what you’ve taught them.
- Explain: In the stage, you give close, hands-on instruction to help your client with the techniques you’ve shown them. The Explore and Explain stages are interchangeable, because they depend on your client’s learning style. Some people like to dive right in, while others might need a detailed explanation first.
- Practice: Your client spends the most amount of time in the Practice stage. Practice includes performing exercises until your client gets them right, and challenging them with challenging exercises.
- Performance: This is the stage where your client completes and applies everything you’ve taught them. They might be nervous, have anxiety, or forget things at first, but to become successful they must learn from their experiences, and improve.
- Coach: This is where your client gets the opportunity to coach others. Your client has mastered their skills, and it’s time for them to teach someone else. Not only do you want to pull yourself up to the top of the pyramid of success, but you’ll want to pull others up with you, so when you both reach the top the accomplishment will be that much better.
